Plan #AC-22 (Adirondack chair)

rough cut dog eared

material that he planed down 1/16"
on his planer.
He also built a matching ottoman. |

Plan #PH-88 (Playhouse)

treeless tree house affect.
The door is "dutch" style (top and bottom open independently). |

Plan #PH-88 (Playhouse)

Plan #PH-88 (Playhouse)
Built by: Ernie C.
From: Danville, CA
Comments: Ernie used redwood cedar for
siding and rough cut pine for the trim and porch flooring. The roof is
shingled with standard shingles, the interior floor is a faux granite
tile. He paneled the inside with nice bleached panels and the ceiling
is knotty pine.
Customer comments:
These plans were extremely easy to follow with minimal waste - thank
you for saving a considerable amount of time, money and effort.

Plan #PH-88 (Playhouse)
Built by: Mike M.
From: Billingham, Teeside, Great Britain
Customer comments:
Thank you for the playhouse plans. My father and I
built this in 4 days as a joint birthday present for my 2 children Conor
aged 2 1/2 and Holly aged 6. The kids love it and live in it almost. The
structure is extremely solid and has cost us approximately £325.00 UK.
This compares to house's of similar size but with
structures made of materials by far weaker in our garden supply centers
costing £700-£800 Pounds

Plan #DH-105M
Built by: Dave P.
From: London, England
Customer comments:
This is the Doghouse I built based on your medium Doghouse
plan. As you can see it does have a few modifications and has been
given the look of a Beach Hut. So as well as a Doghouse it makes a great
piece of Garden Furniture.
Thanks for the Plan

Plan #GB-180
Built by: John H.
Customer comments:
I recently completed my shed using your plans, with variations due to my
situation. I made it 10 x 10 for an existing slab (concrete). I also added
a 3 x 3 window on the back. I used slat scrap siding obtained from my
son, he being in the const. trade. I used comp. shingles on the roof,
paint left over from the house. I used the double door configuration using
2 x 3 KD for the frame & 3/8 CDX ply, 1 x 4 for the trim. I also
changed the ridge beam from 2 x 8 to 2 x 6. It seems to be strong enough.
My cost of material came to $510 all from Home Depot. |

swings and chains. The kids love it!!!

Plan Free Birdhouse
Built by: Carolynn W.
Customer comments:
I had birds fighting over the use of a
bird house in a tree just outside my window. Then I decided that
I needed more bird houses. I went to the Internal to look for patterns
to make one. I found yours and it seemed so easy to make.
I went to lumber yard and purchased two 1" X 6" X 5'
long cedar fence boards. It didn't take me very long to cut out
the pieces and have two new BIRD HOUSES hanging
from my tree. Modified:
The bottom is removable to clean the houses out each year.
it!!!

Plan Free Birdhouse
Built by: Lorne & Lynn S. and grandkids
Customer comments:
Thanks for the birdhouse plans. The picture is of our
grandkids and their March break project. I predrilled the nail holes for
ease of assembly for them. They did all the hammering. (And obviously
the painting.) I made a few changes primarily to the roof to make
mounting easier. The back of the roof is flush with the back wall. I
also had to adjust the dimensions to accommodate the fence boards
available in Toronto. Our cedar fence boards are 5/8" thick
(another good reason for pre-drilling nail holes. Lorne & Lynn S |

Plan Free Birdhouse
Built by: Ed L.
Customer comments:
traditional cedar birdhouse I made with your
plans and I added a few
modifications. I added a trap door bottom for spring cleanout, and I
made up doorway protectors from some scrap aluminum. I then custom
painted them to match the houses of our friends and gave them out a
Christmas gifts. Your design was very easy to follow and I now have
orders for about a half a dozen more. Thanks.

Plan #GB-160
Built by: Bill H. and Sam P.
From: Villa Hills, KY
Customer comments:
We finished the shed in 2 weekends except for the roof, deck, and trim. We
painted the shed to match our home. Shelves were added to the interior. We
saved about $1,000 by building the shed compared to the pre fab sheds we
looked at. The plans were complete and very easy to follow. |
